I already own a domain name? What do I do now?
If you already own a domain name you have accomplished an important first task regarding web design. When we build your website, as a part of our services, we will see to it that we either point your domain name to the website we have built or we will transfer your domain name. Either choices are done fairly simply and we take care of it all.
I currently have a website but I need some changes to it and my web designer doesn't allow me to make those changes on my own. I want to be able to make changes to my website myself without always having to call my web designer. Is this possible?
If this is your current situation (I prefer to call it a dilemma) then you are not alone. Often times web designers will build your site so that you have to rely on them to make the ongoing changes. What you really need is a built in content management system where you can make minor changes to your website like hours of operation, for instance. Or upload new photos to the site. With Owen Web Design, you get the best of both worlds; we employ a content management system so that you can make changes very easily and we also build it customized, not from a template. Bottom line... making changes to your website is very easy to do. If you prefer to have us take care of the changes we offer that option as well. So to answer the question...yes, you can make changes yourself.

I would like to add a contact us form to my website. Is this possible?
Yes. Owen Web Design can build a contact form directly on your site. We have found that having a contact form increases the chances that you potential customers will attempt to make contact with you.
I need an email address set up for my business and I want it to match my web address. Can you take care of this?
Yes. We set up email addresses in conjunction with your web address. If your business domain name is www.owenwebsitedesign.com then we will set up an email address such as Sharon@owenwebsitedesign.com or info@owenwebsitedesign.com or whatever you choose. We set up your email accounts and show you how to use them.
I would like to get my website to show up at the top of Google in the sponsored links when my customers search for my services/products in my area. Can you help me with this and how much will this cost?
Cost varies from business to business. Showing up at the top of the search engines such as Google, yahoo, and Bing can happen and can happen fast if you utilize pay per click advertising. Pay per click is just that - you pay per click. Each click cost a certain amount of money, perhaps 40 cents or 25 dollars. It all depends on your industry. I want to set up a website to sell my products online?
What you are probably looking for is an e-commerce shopping cart website. At this time, Owen Web Design does not build shopping cart websites. If, however, you are looking for a pay pal option and have less than 5 products you are looking to sell, then Owen Web Design may be able to help.
